The Business Lounge at Dutch Design Week 2024 offered a fresh space for connecting, creating, and celebrating in an atmosphere designed to both energize and inspire. Soft blues and yellows balanced with raw metal accents and glossy earthenware, the lounge provided a tranquil space where visitors and press could relax, work, or simply enjoy a coffee. Yellow curtains softened the natural light, enhancing the calming yet vibrant ambiance, while thoughtfully placed design elements helped create a welcoming environment tailored to the event's dynamic energy.

One of the lounge’s most distinctive features were customized Artifort Orange Slice chairs, specially designed with a unique base colour and high-quality fabric that perfectly complemented the lounge’s colour palette. This iconic piece, along with Artifort's modular sofa Track sofa, created an adaptable seating arrangement inviting visitors to use the space as they pleased — whether for casual interviews, solo work, or small group discussions.

Designed by Daphna Laurens in collaboration with Evelien Reich, and featuring contributions from renowned interior brands and independent designers, the lounge’s thoughtfully selected furniture and layout embodied the innovative and collaborative spirit of Dutch Design Week, turning the space into a true hub for inspiration and interaction.
