This edition of Dutch Design Week marks the starting point of a new collaboration in the Dutch furniture industry. Six renowned furniture manufacturers, all of which produce in the Netherlands, are taking on a shared responsibility to achieve an ambitious goal: sustainability of the living environment. Arco, CS Rugs, Gelderland, Label van den Berg, Lande Family (manufacturer of Artifort), and Leolux are openly coming together to seek solutions for the complex issues that affect all these brands.
VISION: REAL CHANGE CAN ONLY CREATED TOGETHER
Individually, the participating manufacturers have taken significant steps towards sustainability over the past decades. From ensuring the origin of materials to responsible energy use, a focus on local production, and the quality of both materials and craftsmanship. However, as Lande Family, we are also aware that complex challenges require more collective effort. Sustainability in our environment must reach the highest possible level. Collaboration, openness, and coordination are crucial in achieving this goal.
TRANSPERCENY AND COLLABORATION ARE ESSENTIAL IN THIS QUEST. THAT'S WHY WE INVITE EVERYONE TO EMBARK ON THIS JOURNEY WITH US.
Artifort cordially invites you to join the discussion on sustainable design of the future. Future > Factory > Furniture serves as the starting point for a collective quest towards a more sustainable future for the interior industry. These six manufacturers openly showcase how they currently produce their products, articulate the sustainability challenges they face, and invite you to share your ideas about a more sustainable future with them through thought-provoking statements and dilemmas.
