2025 marks 65 years of iconic collaboration between legendary designer Pierre Paulin and Artifort. To honor this extraordinary partnership, Artifort presents Shaping Legacy, an anniversary project that includes a new archival book, an artistic film tribute, and a curated exhibition during Salone del Mobile in Milan. The project titled Pierre Paulin and Artifort: 65 Years of Icons, reflects on a creative alliance that has shaped the landscape of modern furniture design.

It serves as a tribute to his legacy— shaped by the many individuals who contributed to its creation. But above all, it honors those who have lived with, cherished, and enjoyed Pierre Paulin’s designs for Artifort over the decades. His furniture has stood the test of time, passed down from generation to generation, continuing to inspire and delight. Paulin’s creations for Artifort are more than furniture. They are enduring works of art that have been lived with, loved, and passed down through generations.

As part of Shaping Legacy, Artifort presents a cinematic tribute to Pierre Paulin. Directed by creative duo Maria Bodil, the film reimagines Paulin’s work not through explanation, but through atmosphere, light and motion.

This short film is a visual symphony that captures the sculptural language of Paulin’s work in form, sound and motion. A study of line, volume, tension, and stillness. It does not document. It interprets. With each frame, it reveals Paulin’s deep understanding of the human form and the physical space between object and body. A choreography of comfort and tension unfolds, paying homage to the designer’s ability to bend time, material, and imagination. The premiere at Salone del Mobile 2025 invites viewers into a world where design breathes. Where Paulin’s creations are not placed on a pedestal, but brought back into motion.
